We are not
made of wood

This set of events is intended to capture the thoughts, focused on death and mourning, of people gathered in a waiting room. The subjects appear in an aquatic in-between, water being the element that symbolises this state of suspense, indecision.

Rahshia Linendoll-Sawyer

Rahshia Linendoll-Sawyer explores the motif of a floating figure in different liquid environments. Each of them is devoid of significant places, leaving the viewer barely able to distinguish the space. The artist confronts him with the absence of direct visual contact and scale, as here in We are not made of wood.
