Under the theme of metamorphosis, the exhibition showcases the works of seven artists who explore transformation, change, and evolution. Pascale Ettlin, Elise Grenois, Vardit Goldner, Maryam Khosrovani, Yosra Mojtahedi, Aurélie Scouarnec, and Suhail Shaikh reveal stories of bodies, materials, and worlds that are being reimagined. Their creations are narratives of transition, from one state to another, where the old disappears to make way for the new.

Through her lens, Aurélie Scouarnec captures the evolution of injured wild animals, where vulnerability gives way to healing and despair to hope. Through his exploration of matter, Suhail Shaikh transforms a simple sheet of paper into a complex and fragile structure, while Élise Grenois performs a singular mutation, turning ephemeral bodies into eternal and delicate matter. Yosra Mojtahedi blends the living and the inanimate, the profane and the sacred through the hybrid figure of Lilith, while Maryam Khosrovani places memory at the heart of her work, where memories of exile liquefy and are transposed onto paper. Finally, Vardit Goldner depicts the shift from injustice to an act of resistance, and Pascale Ettlin confronts us with the changing world, where an idyllic landscape turns into a threatening environment.

Water, the common thread running through all these varied works, is the mirror of physical, symbolic, and emotional metamorphoses.
